Higher Learning

With the “back to school” spirit in the air, I’ve been on a mission to learn how to become healthier, smarter and happier.

For the past several months I was that vegetarian who only ate pizza and other wonderful carbs. When my pants stopped fitting, I found a nutritionist to teach me how to feed my body what it truly needs.  The more I speak to companies and organizations on the importance of image, the more I want to refine my presentation skills, so I found professional speakers to be my mentors.  Writing for major publications is another goal of mine, so I started working with an editor.

If your perfectionism is anywhere close to mine, being at the bottom of a learning curve is hard.  Sometimes my bruised ego tried to convince me that getting better shouldn’t be so hard, that these things comes easy to “everyone else” so it must not be meant be for me and to just give up now.

One day while driving home from an especially “constructive” meeting with a mentor, my perfectionist ego had me deep in my feelings.  But then I heard Divine Intelligence whisper in my ear, “You’re not supposed to know how to do this Morgan.  That’s why I’ve sent you help.”

I sat at the stop light and felt a burden being lifted off my shoulders.  I realized, remembered really, that there’s no shame in learning.  The only shame is in not asking for help.  I also thought of you in that moment.

So many women beat themselves up over what they “should” know how to do, including how to dress.  But knowing how to dress a body that’s changed, or choose the right colors for your skin tone, or determine what makes a purchase a good investment, aren’t things most women“just know.”  And that’s why I do what I do.

Just as I had to solicit support in not ordering pizza every Friday night, I’m here to help you stop sabotaging your wardrobe with another boxy blouse, shapeless cardigan or pair of black slacks.

In keeping with the spirit of higher education, I’m offering my own Back to School Sale.  Through August 31st, I’ll be offering a 33% discount on the Fashion Finesse.
With this package you’ll learn what shapes and colors work (and don’t work) for you, we will remove any style blocks from your closet, and go shopping for new items that work for your body, lifestyle and budget.

If you’ve ever considered working with me, but let your ego get in the way, now is the time to take advantage.  This style overhaul truly is trans-formative and far more enjoyable than kale. Virtual and travel options are available.
Schedule a call today and start this fall season in style.

Speaking of fall, my favorite way to transition into the season is with dresses.  My #SmartShopping finds below both feature prints that are perfect for any season.  Try one on and let me know what you think.
